The Plainsboro Rescue Squad (PRS) is a 501(c)(3) charitable entity and is funded entirely by voluntary contributions from individuals and organizations. Everything from the ambulances, to uniforms, bandages and medical oxygen is paid for by donations and charitable grants. The Township's paid crew, Plainsboro Township EMS, uses our equipment weekdays from 6:00am to 6:00pm and makes a financial contribution to PRS for that usage.

Our volunteer members enjoy the personal challenges, the camaraderie, and the opportunity to serve others. Plainsboro Township operates a food pantry, to help those in need in Plainsboro. The Plainsboro Rescue Squad has volunteered to help with the pick-up and delivery of larger donations if the donor cannot bring it to the township building for whatever reason.

The Plainsboro Rescue Squad (PRS) provides ambulance service to the Plainsboro community. We respond to 9-1-1 calls and attend to sick and injured people and incident scenes. We are a Basic Life Support (BLS) ambulance service as defined by the New Jersey Office of Emergency Medical Services (NJOEMS).
