The Plainsboro Rescue Squad proudly participated in the annual Independence Day Celebration at Walker Gordon Farm, joining the community in honoring America’s patriotism and independence. The day was filled with excitement, unity, and pride in red, white, and blue.
Township Santa Run
The Township Santa Run has become a beloved annual tradition. The Plainsboro Rescue Squad collaborated with the Plainsboro Fire Department and Township Police to capture the Grinch and rescue Christmas! Our dedicated volunteers united to spread holiday cheer, visiting neighborhoods and sharing the magic of the season. Families had the wonderful opportunity to meet Mr. and Mrs. Claus—and even the Grinch—making Christmas truly unforgettable!
Volunteer Appreciation Ceremony
Members of the Plainsboro Rescue Squad gathered with the Township Police, CERT, and Fire Department for a special Volunteer Appreciation Ceremony to honor their service to the community. The Township hosted this event to express heartfelt gratitude to all the volunteers who dedicated their time and effort to serving others. Being recognized alongside the Police, Fire, and CERT was a genuinely gratifying and proud moment for all PRS members.
Veterans Day Ceremony
In honor of our veterans, members of the Plainsboro Rescue Squad joined the Township in a heartfelt ceremony to recognize and appreciate the service of both past and present veterans. The event paid tribute to their sacrifices, strength, and unwavering courage in protecting our nation and serving our community.
Community Market Fair
The Plainsboro Rescue Squad hosted a vibrant Community Market Fair, bringing families together for a day filled with fun and connection. The event allowed local small businesses to showcase and sell their products, while nonprofit organizations shared their missions with the community. PRS volunteers contributed by selling a variety of treats and beverages, raising funds to support our organization. The event was a tremendous success, and we are incredibly grateful for the amazing support and generosity of our community.
PRS Book Drive
The Plainsboro Rescue Squad successfully organized a book drive, collecting donations from the community to support its efforts. Volunteers and Cadets from PRS also partnered with the Plainsboro Public Library to gather an impressive number of books. The overwhelming support was truly inspiring, and we are grateful to everyone who contributed to this meaningful initiative.
Founders Day
The Plainsboro Rescue Squad proudly participated in the Township’s Founders Day celebration. During the event, PRS members were honored by the Township for their dedication and years of service to the community. Volunteers joined the festive parade, showcasing our trucks and connecting with community members. We are extremely grateful to everyone who came out to support us and celebrate this special day together.
Grover Mill and Walker Gordon Run and Walkathon
The Plainsboro Rescue Squad also proudly participated in the Grover Mill and Walker Gordon Run and Walkathons to engage with the community and garner support for the squad. PRS members took part in the events, displayed our ambulances and equipment, and provided on-site assistance with duty crews to ensure the safety of all participants.
Township National Night Out
The Plainsboro Rescue Squad proudly joined the Township’s annual National Night Out at Morris Davison Park, engaging with families and fostering community connections. Our members showcased the ambulance, demonstrated equipment, and shared insights into our operations. To add to the festive atmosphere, we delighted attendees with popcorn and snow cones, creating a fun and memorable evening for all!
Touch A Truck Day
The Plainsboro Rescue Squad participated in Touch-a-Truck Day at the Plainsboro Public Library, offering the community an up-close look at our ambulances and equipment. Our members demonstrated the uses of various instruments, explained their purposes, and provided an interactive and educational experience for attendees of all ages.
Millstone River School
Volunteers from the Plainsboro Rescue Squad visited Millstone River School to connect with our neighbors and their children. Our cadets and members showcased the ambulance, demonstrated the use of our equipment, and shared information about our organization and its initiatives. We deeply appreciate the incredible support we received during this event!
